With a background in Firefighting, EMS, Law Enforcement, and Forensic Death Investigation, Brad's diverse background and field experience brings a unique perspective to the courtroom and the cases he handles.

Education

Brad attended both George Mason University and West Virginia University during his undergraduate studies. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia. While studying at the College of Law, he earned the highest grade award the “Cali Award” in four courses: Criminal Procedure, Trial Evidence, Trial Advocacy, and History of the American Constitution.

While in law school, Brad worked to overturn wrongful convictions as a member of the West Virginia Innocence Project, served as Class President for three years and was name a McConnell Scholar. He was also awarded the Order of the Barristers honor at graduation.

Law Enforcement Experience

Brad’s background as a former law enforcement sergeant and narcotics canine handler provides him with the ability to effectively represent clients accused of a wide variety of criminal offenses including misdemeanors, felonies, DUI Offenses, and drug charges.

 

A 2003 graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy’s 118th Basic Class, Brad was trained in the same practices and procedures used by law enforcement officers. He was certified to conduct field sobriety tests as well as operate the preliminary breath test and secondary breath tests utilized in DUI investigations.
